“Ahhh! Can you smell that boys?” a man in rugged pants and leather belted armor asks after taking a long deep breath, “It’s a certain smell…” He kneels down against the hot sand and digs his hand into the burning hot grains “A beautiful smell.” He lifts the mini pebbles into a steady stream, “Home.” He stands and lifts the butt of his rifle off the ground and flings it over his shoulder and smiles widely while turning around. “I LOVE THIS WASTELAND!” He shouts loudly to a million men marching behind him, all equally disheveled looking and wearing ragged clothing with patchwork rifles. They all simultaneously raise their guns and cheer wildly. The man turns back forward facing a large desert with a horizon marked by a large dune formed in front of a large business building. “LET’S MAKE OUR HOME PROUD! STORM THE ENEMY STRONGHOLD!”. A million feet trample against the sands over a small hill to the approach of the building, “Don’t get too excited guys. We don’t want to hurt any supplies.” He exclaims proudly as he begins strolling behind his men smiling and taking in the landscapes around him.
Everything today seemed so familiar, I loved it. I talked to all of my chefs at school that all make a huge contribution to my education, I had time to get some good exercise, I also got a sweat working today at work, and was given the responsibility of closing down. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day.
