“One trip was cool. But this is happening like, every other week,” Ren groaned, “I have schoolwork and stuff to do!”
“How boring,” Q rolled his eyes, “You’re starting to disappoint me already. And you had so much potential,” he sighed dramatically.
"Hey ... are you the one who keeps vorping me around to new universes and stuff!? If you are then you really need to cut that crud out!" ((my old tag for a crossover verse used to be 'Damnit q'))
Q cradled his chin in his hands and raised an eyebrow.
“Oh? I thought you’d appreciate the free trip. Ungrateful little girl.”

“Okay …” Ren said slowly, “I’m nut sure what it is you just said. Should I be insulted though? I think I should be insulted.”
y’Rehl gave a bark of laughter and leaned back, grinning unashamedly. “Truth is, most of what I said is utter nonsense. Usually when I say that, people pretend to understand and then spout back some babbling nonsense to try and sound impressive. Your honesty is incredibly refreshing, and I admire it.”
“I know exactly what I’m doing.”
“Then why is it the wrong color?” She looked at the mixture and laughed. “It’s supposed to be purple and it just looks murky green.”

✒ +Elizabeth is afraid of the dark, but she pretends that she isn't.
Probably not actually. Her mother doesn’t believe in night lights so she’s never had one so the dark has never been anything to fear. Plus she grew up in space so not a lot of light. If anything bright and natural light is probably very strange to her.

Trip doesn’t know Ren very well either, and he’d really like it if she stayed out of his engine room, but he has noticed she’s nice to his daughter, which in his book is really all it takes to be good in his books.
