During this time of Covid, I find myself trying different things: new techniques, new design styles, new, new, new! It’s my way of keeping things fresh, as I do not have exhibitions to prepare for, at this time... I always have to be making things with my hands! It doesn’t mean that I quit my usual abstract painting: I am simply adding to my repertory. In this case, I’m working on a painting that I started long ago… I added a coat of clear gesso, and am drawing in pencil, on top of it. I sped up the video so that it would fit a 1-minute time slot (apologies to the musicians I was listening to in this clip!). I am not yet sure where this will take me, but there will be more layers, to be sure.
