Here’s to the Photographers
Here’s to those photographers whose clients aren’t other photographers: To those who rise each morning, pick up a camera, and run their photography businesses; Those who answer to their clients; Those who market and shoot and worry and sell and create and sometimes do what they don’t want to do because that’s part and parcel of a portrait business; Those who make it about their clients and not themselves; Those who would sooner gouge out their own eyes then pretend to be something they are not. Those who don’t have time for the drama because they are too busy running a real business. Those who lay down at the end of the day, weary but happy. And thankful that they make their living with their camera. One click at a time.
