The Workman’s Club

Our next post is about The Workman’s Club. This bar is one of Dublin’s best live music venues, although it has much more than that. The Workman’s Club is located on Wellington Quay, Temple Bar, and is just across the road from the River Liffey. It opens at 3pm and closes at 3am.

What makes The Workman’s Club so good is the live music performances which happen almost every day of the week. These gigs are of various different genres and are relatively cheap to go to, which is particularly good for students. While entry to these gigs comes with a cost, there is an entire floor above which is completely free to enter. The upstairs has its own bar, smoking area full of seats, and a Wowburger! 

This bar is a completely different vibe to many of the other entries on this blog, but you are still going to find students and young adults who are drinking and dancing. Overall, The Workman’s Club is definitely one of the best bars in Dublin City Centre, especially if you’re a fan of live music!
