How to Overcome a Workout Rut
Anyone who has or has had a regular workout regime has been in this position. You've been plowing along with your routine for months, maybe even years now, when suddenly you seem to hit a brick wall. Your motivation lapses, you can't seem to concentrate or get passionate about your fitness regime... You feel like you're not hitting your workouts at all when you do get to them... Suddenly all you seem to want to do is sit on the couch and watch television. The good news is that this happens to everyone and that it's completely normal to have a rut every now and then. So first-off let's banish any suggestion that there's something wrong with you. There's often a very simple, logical reason behind a rut and I'm going to talk about some of the most common ones...
