#BridgerWalker, a six-year old from #Wyoming, has been hailed a #hero by The #WorldBoxingCouncil and #Hollywood celebrities after saving his little sister from a dog attack. The #siblings were at a friend's house when a 1-year-old #GermanShepherd mix lunged at them while they were in the backyard. Without thinking, Bridger stepped in front of his sister to protect her and was bitten in the face by the #dog, his parents said. After getting bit several times on the face and head, he grabbed his sister’s hand and ran with her to keep her safe. When asked by his father why he didn’t simply run away, the boy replied with the #heartbreaking yet inspiring response: ‘if someone had to die, I thought it should be me.’ Bridger’s been named ‘honorary #worldchampion’ by the World Boxing Council.
