A cheery smile was on his face as he answered, as if he were very proud of himself for guessing correctly; “That was one thing, yes. There were a few.” Most of which did have to do with the kid and either stuff they’d done or stuff they’d said. Like, say, the entire discussion around how x move would affect such-and-such, and so on.

He didn’t think it was very difficult to connect the dots from there.

"You want stickers? I got a whole bunch of stickers!"

A kid around Maddie's age held up a sticker packet, it seems to have a bunch of cool looking Pokemon on it, including Darkrai.

May pauses in her tracks. She glances over her shoulder but doesn't make a move towards the newcomer. If Winter were paying attention, perhaps they could catch the shape of a long rod in her left hand ( a walking stick perhaps? )

"Sure, the concern's nice but—What makes you think I'm alone?"

The pair of golden eyes drill into the top of Winter's head as the stranger enters the alleyway.

Svern’s index finger flew to his lips in a very dramatised shushing motion. “Shhh, careful with the language there! What are all the serious adults going to think?” There’s a hint of a grin hiding at the edges of his mouth. He’s not trying too hard to seem concerned.

As could be predicted, a childish pout appeared on his face at the swift rebuff. “You’re no fun. But, then again, I knew that already.”

The redhead stood straighter and made a show of adjusting his collar, then straightening out his vest, jet-black with gold-threaded accents; and finally tidying his hair, making sure the gold bow that held it in its low ponytail was sitting just so, before putting his hands on his hips.

“Well, in my opinion, I looked just fine before. Those lovely girls thought so, too. But I’ll look even better now, so I may as well!”

“But I already practised today.” He protests, with a pout, while balancing on one hand. “And I don’t feel like babysitting.”

Rich words, considering he’s basically being babysat by himself. But Svern knew exactly what he was doing: Pestering said babysitter. It’s not like anyone else in the unit was capable of the task, and Kuuga was still too much of a kid, so he had to take the job upon himself.

Kuuga huffed a bit, laying on the ground. Miss Winter is busy, they aren't around Svern by themselves, and there wasn't anything going on nearby, so they were stuck looking at the sky. Which was boring.

Madison was walking around with her houndoom when she saw them laying on the ground, at first she thought they might be hurt. THEn when she saw them not panicking she realized they were just hanging out.

"Watching the sky looks boring." she mumbles while stopping.
