Basically, after the ending of Worldless, the duo are yeeted into this... vaguely cyberpunk place? Like it's a city of sorts. However, while they are knocked out, a Mad scientist spots them.

It should be noted that Aven was speared, and Edda was (somewhat) alive.

So, Mad Scientist attempts to resurrect Aven via using Edda as a "heart." This works but... Edda's dead. HOWEVER, Aven ends up escaping and he immediately notices some strange stuff.

Specifically he got some abilities of a light starfolk (Namely Edda's sprint and dash)... plus where's that music coming from?

AKA Mad Rat Dead-styled AU with Cyberpunk themes be upon yee.

Anyways, have a random Worldless AU I thought about:

Worldless spears Edda, and as They break the skill branches, Edda slowly but surely lose her memories.

The very last thing she remembered before she blanked out was her name, yet even that was fading...

In the Woods, a strange being awakens, without any name nor history. She seemed... oddly confused, plus the fact that no one understood what she said made her feel even more alone.

Yet, a wandering group of adventurers saw her and took her in, deciding on nicknamimg her Spectre, for her bizarre appearance and seemingly ethereal nature.

Spectre attempts to find who she once was, and what was her past, all while a great threat looms over the distance.

(AKA Edda loses all her memories, including her name, weapons and abilities after the fight with Worldless. She wakes up in a fantasy inspired setting and joins a monster hunting party.)

Shoutouts to @spectralgecko's "Puppeteer" fic because it gave me the most horrifying and angsty idea and frankly I'm not even sure I could handle with without crying-

Just... Edda getting hit with a curse/ infection/ corruption of some kind and slowly getting weaker, while her condition deteriorates, like cracks with mossy growths, dimming lights, sudden twitches, etc. But there's literally nothing anyone could do since it's unfortunately not curable, so Aven is forced to watch his only friend pretty much die right in front of him-

... Yeah I may like angst a bit too much-

Also brain is trying to figure out what to make the duo in the Underdogs AU, as well as what to name them.

Current ideas are Holy Bat and Assassin (haha), Legs and Hands, Legs and Fairy or Unicorn and Phoenix. Not too sure on names-

Okay guys I got a random Worldless AU idea

Specifically, based on @mystic-131 mentioning the fact that Tarnished Stars! Duo were killed by Worldless before the Elden Ring stuff.

Basically, what-if where the original duo (Edda and Aven) were killed by Worldless. Thus, the war rages on, endless like it has always been.

Except... two, rather unassuming starfolks were unshackled, yet were a far cry from the fierce hunters. Despite this, this odd pair fought and worked together, breaking all expectations and becoming the strongest beings, just like the late hunters who were killed by The Ones From Above.

And yet... they somehow defeated Worldless, ushering a new age of peace.

Welcome to... Worldless: Underdogs.

Worldless AU where Aven is a heteropolar ophan. That's all I'm saying.

Maybe the whole "conflict" thingy made the dark and light parts of him go all wonky, hence the absorption-

Okay granted, I just think it would be funny if Aven just goes into spear mode (tm)

Also @miracleofdatabase accidentally gave me an idea based on "Edda and Aven reincarnation in the new universe"

Basically. Edda's dead, Aven probably got turned into a god or something and Edda's spirit was in limbo for billions of years.

Until she got swooped up by this random god and was forcefully reincarnated... into a dragon.

Bonus points if said dragon-Edda has physical traits that doesn't align with their previous life to add more salt to the wound-

Basically my brain thought of "Hatchling dragon who doesn't know their past but get glimpses of it and feels extremely wrong for some reason" and I ran with it.
