| Untangling Air Traffic Network |
I find this map interesting as it makes an attempt to make explicit the network behind air transport. It relates the geography of the world to infrastructure and routes in what I find to be quite a creative approach to mapping. Global transportation hubs and networks mapped on a world map canvas (or what is made out to be) conveys a certain degree of complexity, quantity and definitely an aesthetic appeal.
