9/11/2001. Remember the moment you found out? So confusing at the time. 13 years later and my stomach almost sinks more. While we take the time to remember those that were lost and affected by the actions taken agains us on this day, and to appreciate the brave people who dedicated such time to helping through the chaos. You are forever in our hearts and our memories. <3 Let's also not forget that it doesn't take a disaster to remind us that we are all here for each other, or we should be at least. Especially with all the madness going on in the world, all the division, the negativity, the greed, the hostility. We may be separated by state, country, oceans but we are all connected by our main home, our planet. The ONLY one we have. If we don't start fighting FOR each other instead of AGAINST each other we won't even have that to appreciate, to share with our future. How much more do we need to witness before it's enough? Enough with the finger pointing and name calling and superiority...eventually we will all need each other's help at some point in the span of time. Can we as people NOT of different races, cultures or religions, but as one race of people of the earth finally make this way of life history?! I would like to believe that we can, and move forward together.
