I remember being 7 years old in 88 watching the "World SERIOUS", lol my mom roasted me on that for years. The next day at school was awesome, my friend Cameron(who once threw a wild pitch over the backstop, lmao) swore Kirk Gibson was the best ball player ever and in that moment no one could argue. Of course Orel was the best pitcher ever as well, haha, great times and memories. The Zavalas had "1988 World Series Champions" written with a Marks-A-Lot on their shelf well into the 2000s. Dodgers baseball has always been in my life, even the last time I saw my hero(Ken Griffey Jr) was at Dodger Stadium(best stadium ever). Wish Scully could be doing the broadcast as he did when the great Jackie Robinson took the field, but Im stoked hes at least around to witness this.
