His presence alone caused Gilgamesh’s mood to darken like a black cloud casting its shadow on a sunny day, it straight up exuded corruption and malevolence. Or maybe that was mostly the result of him spending too much time inside that depraved grail; sometimes he could still hear the disembodied echoes of a voice, and the drops of thick ichor which had tried to engulf him.

It was like meeting with an old friend-- In theory.
Truthfully, this being felt more familiar than anything. Was there some fondness to this meeting? Deep down, perhaps. And yet... The holy man could not place where such a feeling was coming from. Was it the wonder of his strange, new surroundings--? No. It was hardly that. Surely, he was hardly capable of childlike wonder.
Was it excitement? Intrigue? Or a general curiosity?
