Bird-Kith Concept Design

I have decided that with my depression, and everything. I am not going to do Nanowrimo. I don’t feel prepare for it in the slightest and the degree of self loathing that I have been struck with is unbelievably intense this time.

So I will use the month of Nanowrimo, to world build and make the plot of my novel really bullet-proof before commencing. So that will be in December. So for now building my overall world’s lore and culture. As well as plot construction and design for not only “Daughter of the Snow”, “Descent into Darkness” and “For the Sake of Revenge” (my greatest challenge and enemy).

One of the races that exists in my world is the Avian-kithe. These look more akin to birds than humanoid. They are rather tall and lanky (especially the larger and more predatory birds like owls, storks, shoe-bills, condors, etc). They have digit-grade feet and long necks and do sort and hand that hides within the flight feathers (two finger, one thumb arrangement). They are quiet dexterous and deceptively sturdy while lighter than may of their height would appear (the tallest average 6′ 10″).
