The situation looked pretty grim from Wernher’s standpoint. Not only did MannCo’s CEO do genetic experiments with the DNA of almost every dangerous animal on the planet, but for Saxton Hale to let them all escape while his own men are stationed here!? Disastrous!
The doctor stooped under a leafy fern to rest a little before continuing through the wilderness. His white coat made it difficult to hide, as well as the splotches of red left by his last encounter with one of those.. things. He froze entirely when he heard rustling of nearby vegetation. Drawing his saw, he crept towards the source of the noise with the hope that maybe he can get the first strike if it’s something dangerous.

Toriel had never condoned violence, and that included when someone was trying to attack her. Indeed, when she had been cornered by a rather ferocious human, she had backed down instead of trying to fight back. Humans were stronger than monsters, after all, and she really did not feel like having her soul shattered...
....which lead to now, as she had taken off running when the human had moved to attack. She had foolishly believed for a moment that they would back down at her departure, but the rapid footsteps behind her proved otherwise. She turned corners, trying so hard to lose them, but they were still hot on her tail, and she just wasn’t sure how long she could keep running.
She ducked into an alley, anxiously looking over her shoulder, all plan of escape now flittering out of her head, as she seemed to have arrived at a dead end. Oh, no... if the human finds me here, then I will be forced to fight...
