I loved the Spice Harvester scene from the David Lynch film, and I really just love it in the Denis Villeneuve version. Honestly I like this version better just from the cinematography as well as how they added in the background Radio Chatter that really immerses you into the world. The crew doesn’t actually start to get worried until the carryall fails to pick them up. Before then their voices are really just matter of fact.

Scene also shows why Duke Leto was so popular in the Landsraad and with his people. Unlike other houses like the Harkonnens and Corrino he actually cared more about his men and their lives rather than things like the Spice(The single most important substance in the universe).

Also fun fact, Dune Shields draw in worms because worms are attracted to rhythmic vibrations, and shields basically emit thousands of small harmonic vibrations while active. Hence why they aren’t even attempted to be used as protection in the desert.

And god...those Ornithopters are still just so awesome.
