While filming Dune (1984), Kyle MacLachlan, as Paul “Muad’Dib” Atreides, had such horrible heat stroke he really thought he was about to mount a sandworm when a train was passing off in the distance. The entire crew had to run after him as he sprinted towards it with the worm hooks in his hands, shouting about his still suit protecting him from dehydration.
