Something important to me that happened a while back;
I was talking to a Filipino boy about his make up and he showed me one where he was decked in red and gold. So you all know how much I love gold so I said I liked it and he AND his brother rushed to tell me about how before colonization even the poorest person in the Philippines had gold and that was. I liked that moment.

I finished Oxenfree! Honestly; I think it was a good game. It had a really interesting concept and it effected the jump scares and the general eerie atmosphere in a way I really liked. It made me genuinely apprehensive about what would happen next.
The gameplay was interesting; if I didn’t choose a speech bubble quick enough, they just faded away. The moment passed and I missed my chance to say anything. Sometimes it was frustrating, but it felt very real so I get it.
I also like that apart from the speaking, there wasn’t really a time limit to anything? Unless it was the tests. That really made me sweat; looking back it was pretty awesome.
My only complaint so far is that some of the tests were a little far-fetched... especially the last one? I’m pretty easily stressed out, but I felt like that one was a little unfair. Also the fact that I can’t find an epilepsy warning on the store page... I feel like with all the glitchy flickering and such it’s pretty important to display that prominently.
I very rarely get to pray properly bc I can only rly do it in bali and in the village of my ancestors but i always feel... more full? I feel clean and full.
;w; I didn’t do so well in my game you guys... my team still won but I scored no points bc I couldn’t get through and I hurt a skater!! I fell on top of her and her leg bent and she screamed and she was still really hurt when the game ended!! I’m guilt-ridden
