about you: I’m Mandi, I’m creeping up on 23 years, and I live in the northeastern US. I’m in the sunset hours of my college experience, and honestly, I can’t wait to finally be done. are you a skeptic or a believer?: A skeptic who wishes she was a believer. When it comes to cryptids and the like, I think I pretend to believe for the fun of it. I believe in other supernatural beings, however, so I’m open to the idea of some creepy thing living out in the woods. It’s possible, but in my opinion, highly unlikely.
okay but what’s your favorite cryptid?: As a Pirates of the Caribbean fan from childhood, the Kraken will always be my favorite. I love the deep water and the mysteries within, and I’ve always been fascinated with octopuses and squids and the like.
what’s your favorite theory for what happened to sam?: My logical self says that the authorities probably have Sam tied up in a basement somewhere because he’s meddling in their business, and that it’s not actually cryptids, but a government secret regarding some illegal operation. I like the stories where the “monster” isn’t actually a monster at all, but rather the sick machinations of Humankind: the ultimate monster.
