I worry that people who once used me as their anchors to life and reality now just feel lost when they stand next to me, when they miss a second of time staring out of the window thinking about whatever it is other people think about and then look back at me and they can no longer find that home point I used to provide. I worry that friends I used to make smile and laugh only feel sad when they talk to me, even if it's a sadness hidden behind laughing and joking because let's be honest that's maybe even a worse kind of sadness when you think about it. I worry that I've let everyone down in one way or another during the process of letting myself down. And there'll be people I've let down more than others I know but I can feel each of them pulling that piece of trust away from my heart like scraps of paper that used to hold me together, strips of tape that gave me a sense of purpose and an idea of who I was, what I was for. I worry quite a lot and it doesn't change anything.

I think it's fucking ridiculous how some people are already worrying about prom dates. Like it's not that important to have one. You don't need one. Not gonna lie, it would be great to have one but it's not mandatory. You can be completely content solo and with a group.
