The first time I heard about this #Lou #Reed and #Metallica project I couldn't believe it. I didn't like the idea at all. In my head was like mixing oil with water, and going further, what could Metallica offer me now if the last album I liked from them was the Black Album. Reed is always good for me, and doing that was kind of letting me down.
I let my prejudge affected my perspective. And then... I was wrong.
I just heard the first song that has come to light for this project call "LULU", and the song blew my brains out.
The combination between the lyrics made poems, and voice of Reed, what he says and how he does it, with the combination of good times of Metallica sound makes it, really really really good.
