Elaine spent half of her childhood in Radiant Garden, and half in Traverse Town. Going from light to dark had a profound effect on her, as she began to grow cold in Traverse Town. There were no flowers, hardly any trees, no sunrises... only  the dark gloom lit by streetlamps. Her only warmth came from her family and her best friend, Ren, whom she was inseparable from for years.

Elaine derives joy from getting her tinkerings to work, but her greatest happiness is making her little brother happy. Gale is the light of her life, and she would do anything to ensure he stays that way.

Elaine’s anger, when truly sparked, is harsh and cruel. She enjoys hurting others if she feels they deserve it. She will take revenge and she will make sure that the revenge is complete. Her victim’s pain only fuels her to continue. Luckily, very few have ever ignited such a bloodthirsty rage.

Purple. Fucking. Prose. It’s not good or ‘quality’ writing no matter how much people on Tumblr insist it is. Bad writing can be painful to read, yes, but purple pose just makes my soul cringe. When it takes you 4+ words to explain that your character blinked you’re doing something wrong. I’m doing a creative writing major so It’s irritating to see purple prose being hailed as good writing when it’s something my professors would lose their shit about.

“Riku.” Her voice gentle, chastising. A soft shake of her head as she followed the boy. She hadn’t seen him in so long and still he pushed himself too hard.

Quickening her pace before reaching out. Grabbing his shoulder and giving it a soft pull. Not allowing the boy to shrug off what she had to say. Perhaps he would listen to her more than the others. Although, she highly doubted it. If anything, she would understand if he brushed her off. Ignored anything she had to say. “You need to take a break. You’re going to push yourself into the ground.”

So much training to try and match his title.

when zexion’s angry, you know he’s angry. his face will be more red than usual and he’ll be more quiet than usual, as he’s plotting his revenge on whoever wronged him. as for ienzo, though, he just tries to find something to occupy him from these feelings. if he was involved in an argument, he would immediately apologize.

ienzo suffered severe burns in the fire that killed his parents. he had horrible scars around his body that have survived well into his adulthood. as a child, his muteness was the effect of a throat injury that damaged his vocal cords. he gained his ability to speak back after becoming a nobody. as an adult, he’s thin and lean, as well as short.

ever since the death of his parents, ienzo has suffered from PTSD as well as abandonment issues. he also suffers from social anxiety, and doesn’t tend to enjoy the other children in radiant garden speaking to him. these were absent when he was zexion due to the lack of emotions, but they returned after being revived. along with all the previously stated disorders, ienzo also suffers from severe depression. he has yet to be properly medicated for these.

There’s a lingering sadness between each word, stringing together the core of her deeply rooted insecurities. Although they rarely spoke, Naminé somehow had a feeling that he would understand her peaking anxiety that gnawed at her everyday. After all, who better else to give her advice than Riku himself?
