ONE LAST THOUGHT: in WOTE, Luna is actively fighting against Nightmare Moon, taking any chance to appear before her : dreams, reflections, voices on the wind. Before, she was a little foal consumed by emotions, and although it is a very similar case, Luna has grown. She knows not to despair. She knows to fight : for her friends, for her sister.
But now consider: Celestia reaching out as well. This phantom of a foe it thought vanquished. But no. First the little sister prevents it from permanently ending the solar queen, now both of them are haunting this self-appointed empress, fighting back against its grasp from beyond the physical world.
Because the sisters will always fight for Equestria. And they will always fight for one another. Nightmare Moon looks in the mirror, and she sees the alicorn sisters staring her down, ever present, never relenting.
