TRUST

so i've been thinking about this word and its meaning for a long time (oh how i sound like a real philosopher now. sorry not my intention peeps). how can u trust someone when you dont even know this person for a longer period? do you have to know the person for a while to trust him or her? how do you know that what they say is true? how do you find out when somebody is playing pretend? a lot of people might response these questions with a ''time will tell'' or ''the truth will reveal itself somewhere somehow''. but im not setsfied enough with that answer. how can u trust someone? when is the right time to even talk about 'trust'.. does trust imply 'friendship'? does it has to be based on rational thinking or your emotions and feelings? or both? some people trust other people really quick, because "it feels right". but is it the right thing to do? i think trust depends on your OWN trust... i mean: trust in yourself. do you think you are strong and confident enough to trust that person? then do so. are you only thinking about the things he or she COULD lie about while you are trusting that person? then be suspicious. but one thing i can advice ya'll (sorry if i sound like a psychologist.. bahah). don't let suspiciousness, infidilety and untrustworthy-ness get in the way of what might turn out to be a great friendship, relationship or life-lesson. trust yourself. pray to god. make mistakes. accept yourself.
