As we've seen over the last week, security, prosperity, peace ...in this world can be swept away in a moment. Death can come in a second. And a life without God is not a secure place to be. • There is nothing and no one else on earth that can be to us who God is. • We constantly turn against Him, thinking that we know best for our lives: hurting Him, ourselves and others in our selfishness. • But NEVERTHELESS He is continually with us! • Jesus holds strong when everything else is falling apart. Even when I feel distant from you, it's good for me to draw near to you, God. Hope can be found in you without my circumstances changing. • #Psalm62 "Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him.
