New Works
Hi all, Just a quick chat to throw out some news re: Woven Loop, hopefully will have a couple of new projects available soon. I started W_L as an output for my own work and will see how it evolves :) i’d be really interested to move forward with other artists further down the line, keeping it simple and maintaining the love for what is most important: the music.
With love and best wishes …
Wrote this piece over the past two days in response to the weird weather we're having in the UK. Sun and snow within short periods of time __ cold, barren, light, warmth and change __ 'Morning Watch' is silent and intimate, delicate sounds of an op-1, acoustic guitar and contact microphone recordings are amplified through a tape machine with a wash of hiss and warm telecaster tones ... In between the cold barren notes lies a degree of warmth and hope __
op-1, lapharp, tascam porta02 ... tape loops
some more tape mangling, looping and editing using acoustic instruments
tape loops, telecaster guitar and various objects recorded to tape. contact microphones, edited and reworked onto a tascam porta02 tape machine and recorded back into Ableton Live.
