#wow glitches

In my continuing quest to level my rogue without setting foot in the Shadowlands, I’ve been working on the 8.3 stuff with Fahradion--especially the bits involving the Black Prince and the fight against the Old Gods.

However, doing so at level 54 with a hodgepodge of other endgame quests done or in progress may have caused a slight glitch.  I got quests to go tracking down Wrathion’s journal pages and find him...while he’s standing right there in the Chamber of Heart.  The other NPCs are like, “Oh no, we have to track down the Black Prince!  Wherever could he be?” while Wrathion’s just standing there awkwardly next to Ebonhorn.  I have screenshots I’ll post someday.  For now, trust me, it was hilarious.

I love World of Warcraft glitches, because they’re just always so bizarre and entertaining. 

I once stumbled on a glitch that disconnected my character in Stormwind, and when I logged back in they were under Silithus, falling to their death. My mage ended up hurled off the side of Icecrown Citadel right when Arthas decided to instantly kill my character and go on a long soliloquy, which led to their corpse floating off into the distance until the castle was out of sight. And my personal favorite one is one my mom told me, about how during the first day of Wrath of the Lich King the ship to Borean Tundra so full that when it disappeared a great number of its passengers would be left behind, dropping into the ocean and dying of fatigue. And that’s to say nothing of those I’ve seen on the Internet. 

Overall, whenever I encounter a glitch I’m never really mad about it, because it’s just so hilarious and entertaining that it’s well worth the inconvenience.

Blizzard Employee #1:  “Hey, this quest text is missing.”

Blizzard Employee #2:  “Yes, that’s right.”

Blizzard Employee #1:  “But it’s missing.”

Blizzard Employee #2:  “Correct.  The quest text is ‘missing.’“

Blizzard Employee #1:  “Well, okay, if you say so.”

So I was minding my own business, looking at some of the cool new Shadowlands models in WMV, when I brought up Kyrian!Uther, and...

That is both horrifying and hilarious.

I don’t know what horrible accident befell this dark ranger in the Hunter order hall, but she’s missing her ears...

The fire giant for the “kill a zillion goblins” quest in Zuldazar glitched out somehow and remained glued above my paladin until he teleported back to Boralus.  It went through the combat animations when I fought mobs but didn’t seem to actually do any damage.  So funny-looking!

The first bug I submitted on the Shadowlands beta was the fact that using the S.E.L.F.I.E. camera makes your character’s right arm turn invisible.  Oops.
