[Note:  I took a three-year hiatus from WoW and am still not playing as much as I used to, so this blog is less active than it used to be, but there’s a ton of content archived here to enjoy.]

This blog is approximately 80% Warcraft, 18% non-Warcraft dragons, and 2% other random/personal stuff.

The Elder Anchorite

The Draenei population of the Brigade has been growing steadily over the past decade. This fact in itself contributes to the increasing number of Draenei recruits, but also to the attention of those who lead the various factions of the Draenei.

Elder Anchorite Anaari, Falmir and Xinaah have been dispatched from Shattrath to assess the situation and help those, who find themselves in need of guidance.

A veteran anchorite, strict and commanding , Anaari has taken this task very seriously, and intends to shepherd the flock to the best of her abilities.

I have finished this piece recently, in need of scratching that Draenei itch of mine. I hope you like how she turned out! Yet again, I have used a very limited number of brushes, finding this style of painting most rewarding.

Gone to a Better Place update

Kalizai has to figure out how she can rescue Denathrius, but where does she even start?

Chapter 12 ("In Which Denathrius Being Stuck in a Sword Sucks For Everyone Involved") is now posted!

It's a fairly short one, as it used to be part of Chapter 11 until I decided to split it up.

Sire Denathrius had a whole new appreciation for what dying felt like. He had heard countless souls through the eons describe their own deaths; some were peaceful with their family around them, and others were preceded by great suffering. As an Eternal One, his body was resistant to most damage. An arrow here, a stab wound there, and he would naturally heal within minutes. Relentless attacks by two dozen battle-hardened Maw Walkers, however… It was the most pain he had ever experienced in his long, long existence. Fury had carried him through most of the ordeal, but in those last seconds, as he felt his body giving up, he had been filled with pure despair and terror deeper than he had ever known.
