So I recently read Part 13 of Ellen’s “The Primrose Thrills” and I thought, “Wow this is pretty long. I bet it’s the length of a full sized book.” so I crunched some numbers:
TPT is 162,849 words long. So to put this in perspective
To Kill A Mockingbird is 99,121 words.
The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is 109,571 words.
The Scarlet Letter is 63,604 words.
And finally, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince is 169,441 words.
That’s only about 6,000 more words than TPT. THIS BOOK IS LIKE TWO INCHES THICK PEOPLE.
So I guess the point of this post is to thank you for all 162,849 words Ellen. It’s a great story and it really could be published. Let’s see if she can beat HP with the epilogue….
