そろそろ作るか？〜自伐材で作る木製ロードバイク フレーム

山梨県上野原市に工房を移転してモノづくり塾を始められるのが来春の予定なのですが、そうなったら現在横浜の工房に保管している、といっても屋外に置きっぱなしですが、木製ロードバイクWP1の試乗車も上野原の方に移動することになります。 住まいは横浜の方なので、自分用のWP1初号機は横浜に置きます。そうすると上野原で乗り回す木製ロードバイクが必要になります。 千葉県で伐採したイチョウを大雑把に製材して1年以上寝かしておきました。今日はそろそろこれ使ってロードバイクフレームを作ろうかと眺めていました。 木取りをしてみないと何とも言えませんが、これだけあるとロードバイク1台とギター1本が作れそうです。 少し製材を進めてからやるかどうかを決めます。 モノづくり共同体の千葉拠点では自伐・製材・最終製品の製造という流れをウクレレ製作教室や木工旋盤教室を運営する中で実行してきました。小さな成果ですが…
