Final Team Results
We moved up to 6th overall in the team portion of the WPC! This is the highest result of any team I’ve been part of (largely due to my teammates who were all awesome)!

Final Team Results
We moved up to 6th overall in the team portion of the WPC! This is the highest result of any team I’ve been part of (largely due to my teammates who were all awesome)!
Round 22 (Team Round 5)
This was an optimizing origami puzzle round. We decided to do 3 of them that added to 1540 points. There was no time bonus but we stopped solving with 10 minutes left.
And that’s the end of the 2023 WPC!
There’s a gala dinner to end things and karaoke afterwards.
Round 21 (Team Round 4)
This was a trick or treat round with masks and 9 puzzles that had tricks which altered them into new puzzles. We likely solved 17 of the 18 of them and needed about 5 more minutes to solve the last one.
Final Individual Results for WPC 2023
Apparently, I got a mistake in round 10 and only 325 points as a result… but I did move up to finish 55th overall officially (and 80th unofficially) as an individual. It was good enough for 3rd best on my team behind Kevin who finished 9th overall!
Round 17 (Team Round 3)
This was 16 pieces that formed 4 fuzuli puzzles (Latin squares with no 2x2 digits filled in). We got the puzzle pieces together for me to solve the fuzulis. We finished with just over 14 minutes remaining (out of 30 minutes)!
Time for lunch!
Round 9 (Team Round 2)
This was a shading puzzle with 81 squares that formed a large picture if shaded correctly. The clock was paused at 5 minutes until 2 teams finished, and once it unpaused, we finished with 2 minutes remaining.
Round 8 (Start of Day 3, Team Round 1)
We were divided into 2 pairs and given instruction-less puzzles. I got a Latin square to solve and my partner I completed fairly quickly giving us a lot of time on the final puzzle which was a combination of each of our individual rules. We solved it with plenty of time remaining (12 minutes)
Last Round
This was a word puzzle round and my best one of the day. I likely got most of them for 405 out of 500 points.
Now I’m off to a Raptors preseason game!
