Happy Walpurgis Night!
Walpurgis Night, a night held in revere for million of Muggles, is a holiday of magic. The Muggles light joyous bonfires, clasping hads in the shows of the flickering flames, their laughter can be be heard for miles as they celebrecte with foolish debauchery, mindlesss pranks, and and the overall belief that for one night, the impossible becomes the obtainable.
Yet behind brick walls and repelling charms the Wizarding World is having a celebration of their own- the anniversary of their very existance. Though not able to pinpoint a day and time where Magic as it is known manifested, to celebrate under the waning crescent seems as appropriate a place as ever. To pay homage to the forces that have placed them these gifts, masquerades are thrown across the continent, the sole intention of appreciating someone’s magic above all physicality. This night, in direct opposition to Halloween, serves as a gateway into the summer season for wizards and witches, and is a night where anything is possible.
Keeping in tradition the Montagues and the Capulets, being the opulent benefactors that they are, are throwing their annual Walpugis Night Masquerades.
The Capulet party, which every member of the Catapult staff is invited to, will be held at Capulet Manor, the family’s estate residing in the feilds of Caephilly.
The Montague Masquerade will be held Warthington Hall, the family’s personal residence on the shores of the Montrose Basin, and all Montrose employees are invited and expected to attend.
Welcome to Wherefore Quidditch’s very first event! The event will last for one week, starting Sunday, April 10th, at 7pm EST. It will run until April 17th 7pm EST.
