The Howling Owl is a premier faction neutral coffee shop and bar located in Pandaria and created by Alaris Sunspell and Saeil Moonblade, now run by Lianellie Quinne. Each month we host an event that allows our patrons to recite poems, tell stories, or even share music for the others in attendance to enjoy. These can be original works or can simply be their favorites. Real world adaptations are fine too!

We are hosting our 4 year anniversary celebration this year in Northrend Dalaran, and we are looking for vendors and performers! We will be setting up the vendoring area around the magus commerce exchange on Monday and Wednesday(Tuesday’s location will be given out that day) , but if we need to we will expand it to other sections of Dalaran, we will move over into the adjoining areas.

Mysteries of the Occult
A known scholar of the occult and of folk magics, Leora is always willing to help enlighten someone else on the early histories of the Vry’kul, Humanity, the Dwarves and many of the other peoples of the Eastern Kingdoms! However, for those of a far more...adventurous, or perhaps mad, disposition she can be just as helpful. A collector of ancient artifacts, manuscripts and relics that date back as old as the Black Empire itself; of seteles, tomes, and daggers used by the early Drust and the weapons used by those who culled them, and manuscripts that were once tucked deep within Scholomance herself, she not only owns these items but is able to tell you much about their origins, and their uses. With a small bit of asking around, many would also know of ser own magical abilities lying within the realm of Thornspeakers, Occultists and sculptors of wards and runes. Whether in need of a scholar to help in translating a book, a seminar on early history, or someone to purify or de-curse a relic, she is the woman to call upon!
The Book of Common Defence
While also a scholar of the occult, she’s also the author of a book. A weighty tome known as “The Book of the Common Defence”, published in Orcish and Common, provides a basic overview of the anatomy, psychology and defence tactics a common farmer would be able to use in a pinch against some of the most foul creatures known to mortals; from succubi to ghouls to even some of the more common types of “classes” that may come around to shake down a peasant of their property like that of a mage, paladin or death knight. While not having the means to ever kill anything of the above, the Book of Common Defence does provide a farmer the means in which to protect himself for a few more moments to allow for a specialized adventurer or slayer to arrive. Constantly growing and with a new volume being written currently, all sorts of aid in terms of editing, research or insight is always welcome!
A House Call
While the Occult is often why her most time-consuming appointments come to her door, she is still a physician! Providing alchemical healing, surgery and diagnosis for the people of Dalaran and the Underbelly, she is also able to do house calls for any and all who need a physician with a dependable track record for consistently accurate prognosis, hygienic practices, and a myriad of fun cures, tonics and salves for the most wounded adventurers or the most domestic of maladies!
Amidst Gold and Perfume
The Strauss name is perhaps not as old as any aristocratic family, though they are quick to tell you of their descendance from ancient Lordaeronian noble blood and of powerful church bureaucrats. Nevertheless, they still do hold quite a bit of power. The dynastic owners of the Strauss-Gartner Bank, the Strauss Wineries and Distilleries, and the Blackreef Trading Company; Leora—while personally to never inherit more than a few gold as the fifteenth in line of sixteen siblings and half-siblings—still was able to enjoy quite a comfortable existence as the daughter of one of the wealthiest plebeian families in the Eastern Kingdoms. For those who were in proximity to the high society of neutral and Kul Tiran society, they may know the family as a banking dynasty or perhaps even known Leora before she left for the mainland five years ago!
Partisans, Revolutionaries and Pariahs
An Ex-Revolutionary who fled abroad after the puppet Proudmoore was installed as Lord Admiral and after being apprehended for smuggling serfs, slaves and forced conscripts to freer, neutral lands. Though she was later granted amnesty for fighting in the Uldum and Pandaria crises, rumors amongst the Boralus populace have rumbled ever since her trial and conviction of being an Agent of the Horde, in league with the Old Gods, a witch, an anti-social degenerate, and sympathizing with whatever phantoms the lower-class had been told to fear that day by their new Alliance leaders. Fearing for her safety, Leora has since fled abroad to the City of Dalaran in which she could live in peace. While there, she now tends to keep company with exiles, social reformers and revolutionaries who’s change were not meant to be.
Perhaps you were one of the soldiers or serfs she’s saved, perhaps you’re in need of getting into contact with an ex-Defias leader or another group armed in a resistance struggle; whatever the case, should you need to get involved with the underbelly, activists and eccentrics philosophers of societies from Orgrimmar to Stormwind, she’ll be able to get you in contact with whoever you may need.
Due to the amount of events that are neutral in nature, I have decided that keeping up with two separate blogs is rather inefficient and have combined both the WrA Horde and WrA Alliance blogs into one.

⚜ - Demetrius is a baker. He enjoys spending his time baking when he’s not out in the forest hunting or travelling. Although he’s not as good as the professionals, he does get by with what he can make.
⚜ - Demetrius is often seen in the woods. He finds the woods or any type of forest a sanctuary. He loves to hunt and to live away from society. Because of his shy nature, and desire to be away from anyone, including family. He’d prefer to stay out in the woods sometimes months at a time. He’d sell pelts in small hunting villages, sometimes spending a night here and there in the inn, but never staying for more than two nights at a time.

Known For: Flynn would be known for his life on the seas and how ruthless his tactics were when it comes to ship battles. Often times, his ship would ram straight through a rival pirate ship, or merchant ship just to make a statement. In the face of battle, he smiles and laughs at those that fall all around him. But, he does have his good points. He procures drugs and medicines from a merchant ship Captain as they owe him a hefty sum. So if you sell or are in need of drugs, medicines and herbs, he may have sold to you!
During the recent onslaught between the Horde and Alliance, he’s sold his services for those who wished to make their way towards Boralus Harbour or Zandalar for a hefty price of course. He often comes to blows with guards in major cities, sometimes getting into a few brawls.
If you’ve been in a tavern when his ship was docked, you’d most likely hear his “signature” laugh and saw a hulking man sinking down some good rum with a few good men and women.

Personality: Flynn is the type of man that can have a good time. His smile barely ever falters and for a good reason. He believes living and thinking too much with your head is bad for you and rightfully so. He’s seen many people who were killed in battle because they over thought. Instead, he’d rather live in the moment. He laughs at just about anything even if he’s facing a foe which only infuriates them more. He has a “signature” laugh that his crew call. It’s a short, loud single, “Hah!” sometimes accompanied by him slapping the table or his knee. When he is angry though, it’s for good measure. In the eyes of his crew, he looks death and fear in the eyes with a smile. Don’t expect him to react if you’re angry with him, he’ll just laugh at you.

He’s not one to dress fancy like the nobles, despite being one. He prefers a pair of black jeans, loose t-shirt and a leather jacket if he were able. But, due to his life on the sea, he mostly wears pants that would be comfortable for his active lifestyle, a loose t-shirt or long shirt that had a tie-up neck.
Flynn is a large man, considerably so. Standing at 6′5″ he tends to tower over those around him and outsizes them. Due to his life on the sea and maintaining his ship, he maintains his physique just by doing labour alone.

Extra Info: Please note that I prefer OOC communication with an RP partner. This is just to ensure that we’re on the same page and that things don’t get overstepped such as writing for my character when they barely know each other. I do not do retcons, I put a lot of time into my stories and into my characters but if it is necessarily required. I will do it, but there needs to be a legitimate reason. Otherwise, the character will just be NPC’d and renamed.
