do you actually have a problem with women who are housewives or just media that forces women into being housewives? bc staying home whether it's with your kids (my cousin stays home w/ her non-verbal daughter) or not if you can, etc. is a perfectly valid choice for a woman to make. there's nothing inherently demeaning about being a housewife.
i have literally no idea where you're coming from or where i have ever talked abt this but i probably did so uh. no i dont think there's anything inherently wrong with stay at home moms!! being a housewife and a stay at home mom is a really hard job and should be recognised as such. my issue is when media/people try to say that women's natural place is at home with kids, that they shouldn't pursue careers, that their husbands don't need to take part in the housework, that being a housewife is just a natural thing and not inherently work/tiring etc etc because that is all complete bullshit. i also just have a deep sadness for women who feel like they have no other choice in life but to stay home, women who had to give up their careers due to lack of support or bc they felt like it was their obligation etc but again i don't think there's anything inherently wrong with a woman choosing to stay at home with her kids and clean/cook for her husband as long as it's her choice, it's something she wants, and she gets the proper help and recognition for everything she does
