NINE years ago, at the beach, with @wrenb77 and her kids. We've known each other a long time, eh sweetie?

SF, I read your guide to collars but I was wondering if you have advice on choosing a play collar. Are there features I should look for or, more importantly, ones to avoid? Thanks so much!
It all depends on what kind of scenes you’re going to be doing. A sturdy leather collar worked well for me, and I had a preference for an o-ring, but I didn’t use it often so I didn’t need a super heavy-duty one. If you’re into more intense bondage scenes, look into something like an infinity collar.
Also keep in mind that mass-produced collars are usually going to be a little less durable than ones made by leather businesses on Etsy, for example. Think about the things you’d like your collar to have--a locking clasp? An o-ring? Several rings? Studs? A tag? Is it more important to be pretty or functional?
Good luck!
