I hope the momentum of women in this sport creates opportunities so young women can participate in a milestone that so many young men work for. #wrestlethegap #nationalsigningday My dad is also in the photo. He is a big part of this process as well. He missed out on seeing his coaching and my talent and our hard work not have the proper stepping stones to pursue getting an education and competing at a D1 level. This is about more than equality in sport, it is about how we structure society and how we teach women through opportunities what they can and cannot do. Dvision 1 NCAA support is a step in the right direction to see women be able to compete and dream about a signing day. Teaching women to work hard for a goal makes our whole world better. Girls need more NCAA schools to let them wrestle. On their own teams.
