Writing Siblings
So finally you're down to writing demons that reside in your house under the pretence of family. Just kidding, maybe. But actually, siblings are fun to have sometimes, but they can be devious little things and they are not afraid to throw hands if it comes down to it. Here are some points that you can keep in mind while writing siblings.
Siblings share secrets. It’s just like an unspoken rule, not that you’ll be able to hide it much longer from each other.
They are sneaky little shits. One more reason you won’t be able to hide anything from them.
Siblings make fun of their parents together.
We MOST DEFINITELY do not snitch on each other with things like relationships and shit-talking.
But yeah if you’re really getting yourself into trouble, there’s no stopping them from blurting it out and getting you back on the track.
And yeah, every sibling wants the last word in an argument.
Siblings are those types of humans who would give you their kidney without a second though but never in their life would they lend you a charger without having a full-blown argument.
Siblings fight over clothes and it is always a mess.
The older siblings would watch movies and TV shows that are not appropriate for the younger ones and not give two flying fucks about it.
Siblings will help you with projects and assignments and stuff like that.
They would even help you cheat, at a considerate level.
Siblings will fight over chores, even if you have them assigned, it wouldn’t matter, they would still try to sneak out of them.
They would gossip about cousins and other siblings as well.
Again as said before, they are ready to throw hands at the littlest of things.
If you somehow end up injuring them, they WILL NEVER let you live it down, never.
Even if they’re absolutely shit to you, they will protect you if it comes down to it.
They will stand up with you in an argument against parents.
They are the ones who will end up consoling you after a fight with family members.
Sibling fights don’t last more than a few hours; twelve hours at maximum.
After a fight, siblings never apologise, they’ll just start talking to you and behaving as if nothing happened.
And now the most important one, WE DO NOT CALL EACH OTHER ‘BRO’ OR ‘SIS’. WE JUST DON’T.
