okay hi so I don't explicitly ship wriokae, but they are both my two favorite genshin characters and I'm actually so into this idea. If you want to I'd LOVE to hear rambles about them; what gave you the idea to? what's your favorite aspect of them together? Is there an au you have in mind specifically? I'm so curious (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ)

the Origin story isn't really interesting I think, it's kind of just my fav x my friend's fav. it came about when we were standing next to each other in game .w.

we were like What if they kissed.... and then gradually I got more serious about it and started recruiting my other friends, or anyone else I can

I can't really explain well why I think they fit together... (disclaimer that I have the memory of a paper clip and don't feel as confident in anything I say pertaining to wrio; my hyperfixation is kaeya)

I think in some ways they're pretty similar. being jokey with people and having a more guarded inner personality.. their wits are a strong weapons of theirs. I think this can make fun interactions.

one could say wrio changed his fate, something kaeya wishes (thinks?) he can too. also with feelings of wanting to find a space to belong? where wrio created one for himself, and Kaeya struggles with those feelings.

I can imagine their personalities going good together. I think kaeya needs someone who is patient with him and can give him space (I see him as being quite avoidant), and wrio is a good fit imo.

they're capable of being independent/strong on their own, so they can come together as equals.

I also just like imagining someone totally whipped for Kaeya, and who better than puppy wrio...

as for AUs.. I love putting them in Situations, buuut the current scenario I'm thinking of the most often is a monster x hunter type thing. I'm afraid that ramble would be too much for this post at least, but I'd be happy to msg about it (;・ω・)

What I love about this fic : Okay, I haven't had time to go very far in this fic either, but I read another Wriokae fic from the same author before and I can therefore says this is going to be a banger ! (Other fic is Sugar and Spice. A/B/O, Explicit, go for it if you enjoy the genre. The line "He's the whole bakery" still lives rent-free in my head lol). It's also a massive fic, currently over 140k words, and the tags are. Wow. Intriguing. I am very curious as to where this fantasy au is going to take Kaeya ! (Beside the bed of a wolf and a fox. Good for him❤️‍🔥)
