Attending 'cool literary scene' events has made me realise that fan fiction is a way more fun way to 'be a writer'.

Anyway I woke up this morning and finished SIGRA. It is not perfect in many ways, but I do think there is something about fan fic that is just so full of soul, and driven by a love and a passion that is inherently cringey and free, and that is why when you put things like fanfic up against technically good (or not even properly technically good...) pieces, you are often going to have a more emotional response to one over the other.

this is just salty encouragement for you to keep writing. Do it!!
