A week without new content. Are we (collectively) going to stop sending anon hate to people? Yes? We’ve learned our lesson, then? Great.
In that case, here’s an update of what I’ve been working on the last week:
- Patreon is up and running. I intend to get farther ahead than I am but at the moment there are 2 one-shots that haven’t made it to tumblr and won’t for at least another two weeks, two new chapters of Sounds of Someday, and one new chapter of Love At First Break. Sign up here.
- Sounds of Someday is coming along nicely and will be over 10 chapters.
- Love at First Break is being stubborn and completely disregarding the outline I’ve written for it.
- La Raison deuxième partie is with my beta and Partie Trois is in process. I’m sticking with the French for a few reasons - partially because it separates that piece from others but mostly because NOLA is rich in a French history. I’ll probably delve more into a history side at some point later on.
- I’ve begun a new series called World on Fire. It’s going to be set beginning in 1918 and will feature characters from several fandoms. Dean Winchester serves in WWI and comes home to work in the Mafia business with his father. A lot of research is going into making this fairly historically accurate aside from the obvious fictional pieces of the mafia and characters.
- I have a surprise series called Write on Time that about 5 people have the inside scoop on. I’m pretty excited about that one.
- One More Drinking Song is progressing nicely. Chapter One is beta’d and ready for posting and I’m working through chapter 2 now. It won’t start posting until the entire series is finished and will begin on patreon first.
- I’ll be updating my masterlist a bit and separating the RPF (real person fiction) from the fictional characters and leaving the Supernatural characters on their own masterlists.
That’s about all I can think of right now. I’ve got an exam later this week - attempt 2 so wish me luck. In seven more days, I’ll be considered fully vaccinated and will be able to hug you all once again. Mother’s Day is starting off beautifully for me - I hope it continues that way for you too!
