I'm on break so while I'm on break I will ask a question that I will get back to after work.
Elm Also known as the grand old elk is supposed to be autistic.
But as someone who issnt diagnosed but MAY have it. I feel the need to ask is his rep is ok or needs work. And I'd love to hear from those diagnosed or like 99% positive.
Elm is an old elk. He's lived quite long so he's a spry old man. And I'd like him to be on the spectrum or at least implied.
What i have so far :
Elm lives alone on a mountain, he tends to fixate on other animals and loves learning about them (due to the fact he's an elk you could say he's people watching)
He masks well but he can't help but be amazed by others. When given the ok by someone else he will happily talk for hours about his intrestis and findings.
He Hates the sound of his antlers agenst wood and DISPISES the sound they make when they scrape across stone. He often trys to avoid getting rid of his antler velvet due to this but velvet itches and he eventually has to bite the bullet every year and try to get it over with. It's the worst part of his year.
He shakes his whole body as if he's gotten water on it whenever the temperature changes a little too fast.
He Stims. or well the deer version of it.
He lightly stops his front hooves on the ground when he's overwhelmed in either the good or bad way.
He prances around alot dispite his old age.
He is a twist of the writeing. He is seen as omnipresent and extremely noble. He is very noble, sweet and wise. but issnt the stereotypical wise old man.
Is this good or offensive or could use work.??
-someone who may be on the spectrum but cant get diagnosed. but also wants to write a character with it.
