Write me a memory--I’ll turn it into art.
My name is Samantha Pennine, I’m a Pittsburgh artist currently producing a body of work titled, Recollection.
Recollection is a series of photographic collages that are made from actual people’s memories that they have anonymously submitted to me. The intent of my work is to show the bits and pieces of things that we remember from the past and emphasizes the gaps and holes that we sometimes forget.
I am seeking more submissions! Write me a memory that you’ll never forget. Tell me about that time you got drunk with your best friend and got into trouble, the first time you knew when you were in love, or the time you fell and broke your arm on the playground. Write me anything.
