mikaaislin (Ais) - original LGBTQIA+ sci-fi/fantasy/supernatural stories on ao3 :)

In case I forgot to post this on tumblr:

I started putting some of my solo original work on ao3, under mikaaislin. Right now it’s basically the short stories/serials I’ve been releasing on Patreon + first 3 chaps of Incarnations. I’ll keep populating it with random shit + continuations of those stories. (Currently is a gay sci-fi story, 2 lesbian supernatural stories, and a start of a massive LGBTQIA+ sci-fi/fantasy series)

Also, if anyone missed it before, I have a complete (I think) list of my original stuff on my writing masterlist (http://aisylum.com/writing-masterlist/) which also includes things not on AO3 at the moment.

Cool story bro but what do you write? Almost everything I write is LGBTQIA+, lately leaning mostly toward supernatural, sci-fi, fantasy, or a mix. Recently, almost every story I’ve done not only has main characters who are gay or lesbian (or asexual) - which is a default for me regardless - but also has a main character who’s nonbinary in some form, and many times I also have a main character (or a more important background character) who has some sort of disability. Also, especially with Incarnations, there’s usually diversity in skin tone, heritage, or other aspects so it’s not all the same cookie cutter person or race/species/etc depending on the story.

idk if any of that matters to anyone but in case it does, I guess FYI.

I won’t always get everything right and it’s not like I’m BEST WRITER EVER OMGGG!!!111 (far from it holy crap) but for anyone curious to see more of my stuff, there you go. I look forward to continuing to improve as I go forward :)

I actually can’t wait until I can share my latest short story (Five Star Review) but I always post it a few weeks early on Patreon so it’ll be a couple of weeks. I got to write a really fun god for it, so it’ll be fun to share :)

Anyway, I’m the absolute WORST at advertising for myself. This already feels horrendously weird and I’m tempted to delete this instead of post. But I know I used to get questions about what I’ve written on my own and I just moved some patreon fics over to ao3 where I know some folks like to hang, so I feel like I should probably mention this, and the fact that the writing master list has been updated.
