Billy knows when you have a headache. He can see it in the way you hold your shoulders, can hear it in the shortness of your voice. He knows that you go quiet when you’re hurting so that you don’t accidentally snap at him or anyone else. He admires your restraint, but it kills him because you’re in pain and you won’t tell him. So, one of the times you’re quiet and tense in his passenger seat, Billy reaches over and begins to gently rub your neck. He wasn’t expecting you to break down crying because of how good it felt. From that point on, Billy loved helping when you had headaches. He’d smirk as he came up behind you, muttering something about “his magic touch” as you all but collapsed from the relief. You’d be annoyed at him if he wasn’t so good at it.

Thinking about Billy’s hand resting on the back of the passenger seat where you’re sitting as he looks over his shoulder to back up. Thinking about how his hand lingers there as he keeps driving, sliding down to absently tug at your hair and rub the nape of your neck. Even though he does it without thinking, Billy can’t help but smirk when you lean back into his hands, loving the way you trust him, loving the way you respond to his touch.
Billy loves it when you jump into his arms. He catches you easily, smirking as he picks you up so you’re smiling down at him, your legs looped about his waist. If you’re alone, Billy loves to give you piggy back rides. He pretends that it’s just a creative way to get a workout, but both of you know that he truly just likes having you close.
Thinking about when you and the others first get trapped in the upside down. Thinking about how you’re injured just as bad as Steve but no one notices so you hide it, binding your waist up by yourself when everyone is distracted, biting your lip so hard until it bleeds against the pain. Squirming and thinking about how Eddie would be the first to notice how quiet you are, how you lean against the rocks and trees for support despite the vines slithering over them. Then you trip and fall and cry out cause god it hurts and Steve notices, his own pain forgotten as he helps you up and asks if you’re okay. And you lie and say yes. Thinking about the looks Steve and Eddie exchange over your head as everyone continues to walk and you grow paler, holding your side as you soak the bandage with blood. The boys will never forgive themselves for the fact they weren’t beside you when you collapsed, Eddie only managing to catch your head at the last second before it bashed into a rock. Thinking about how you’ll cry out when they peel off your shirt and expose the infected wound beneath, how Eddie will apologize and hold you down and wipe your tears as Steve and Nancy try to clean and dress the wound while Robin panics in the corner. Thinking about how you’ll apologize too, I’m sorry I’m sorry I’m sorry, only to have Eddie shake his head hard, his own eyes glassy. “It’s our fault, baby. We’re supposed to take care of you.”
Thinking about Eddie and Steve when your brain is full and overwhelmed. Thinking about the two of them exchanging a look when they find you curled up on your side in bed after getting up and wandering away during the movie the three of you were watching. Thinking about how you’d stiffen at the feel of Steve’s hands on your waist, giving a small whimper as he moved you to the middle of the bed. “Easy, baby,” he’d whisper. “We’ve got you.”
Thinking about you trying to resist as Eddie slides in on the other side of you and makes himself comfortable, ignoring your weak “I’m fine, I’m okay, it’s fine” as he tugs you onto his chest. “Relax, sweetheart, just relax,” his arm would wrap around your shoulders, holding you close while playing with Steve’s hair as he rubs circles into your back. “Breathe.”
