WRITER CONFESSIONS
Look, I’m going to real talk you here (but when do I not?). Let’s talk about writers and platforms (i.e. tumblr, twitter, youtube, IG, etc). I’ll be writing a longer post on my blog (oh look another platform!) if you want to see my tips and (lengthier) feelings about this. I don’t use tumblr a lot as a writer. Why, you ask? Because I’m literally on every platform save snapchat (and that’s mainly because I hate my face. I mean, lookit my icon. D’you see a photo? Exactly). And not only do I have to update every platform constantly (or at least I try), I have to write. And I have to promote (which I suck at. Oops.). And I have to write And I have to edit And I have a job And. And and and and and. The social media platforms I’m on often require vast amounts of my time--even my writing time. That probably means I should cut back on some. But I won’t. Because I love meeting new writers and readers (and making friends. #lifegoals). But that’s why you don’t see me posting or re-posting a ton here. For those who follow me here--BLESS YOUR SOULS YOU KIND PEOPLE. For those who found me through my blog or twitter or youtube or my actual books (hahaha) THANK YOU for following me here even though it’s meager. It means a LOT to me. Trying to balance out work, and writing (which is now my job--whaaaat?), and all of my social media’s is hard--especially since I tend to procrastinate and ESPECIALLY because I’m not always good with time management (I was that teen doing their reports the night before they were due). So thank you for following me (on anything)!
