Feeling proud of myself for the first time in...a while.

yeah but just imagine sam and steve go off on their epic quest to find bucky, and along the way they go to all these diners and restaurants, and every time they end up with a stack of near licked clean plates on the edge of the table and smiles on their faces. and it's great and fantastic, but steve's always joking he could eat more (super solider, right?) and then one day sam spots an in house challenge at this burger place they find - "eat the double triple stacker burger, and win a place on the wall of fame and a free tshirt!" so sam tells the waitress steve wants to try out the challenge, and before steve can protest the whole restaurant is suddenly crowded around their table happily chanting and trying to give steve a pep talk about how to tackle the burger. when it gets to the table it's huge and even sam doubts for a second that steve can handle it but damn steve polishes that burger off so fast he sets a new record. the shirt they give him is a bit tight and steve's still got sauce in the corners of his mouth when they take the photo, but when sam kisses him later it still tastes fucking delicious. idk where i was going with this but i just want it okay.
