Hey, HBO War fandom!

Here’s a crazy idea: what do you think about having an AO3 Yule/Christmas gift exchange?

It's not even June and I'm already thinking about yuletide: what I might want to nominate and request and, in at least one case, do I want to request that or write it myself. (Honestly kind of wish the answer could be both, but I feel like that might be frowned upon.) Thinking about what I might like to write, too, but that is harder without seeing nominations.

I used to do exchanges all year long and basically always have an assignment. I burned out on that and went to only yuletide, then last year just yuletide and candyhearts. But idk, maybe I should think about doing a few more again. I have actually been writing, but it's all original stuff and hence I am not posting it and I think I am really feeling the lack of social interaction and feedback that at least theoretically comes with writing and posting fanfiction.

Sign ups for the SmutSwap writing exchange are now open on Dreamwidth. The link goes to the explanations post and the actual sign ups are taking place on Archive of Our Own. There are several fandoms and kinks available and it looks to be a lot of fun.
