MID TEST :: The Criteria of Prospective for The Next President of Indonesia
soon the tenure president of Indonesia Mr. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono wil end, and of course that position will be sought by the prospective candidates. if we reflect on the presidential election 5 years ago, exchange-election in 2009 only netted by 3 couples, various strategies and means deployed to achieve victory. campaign schedule was prepared to convince the people over themselves respectively. as the general society, they can only pray and hope that the next leader in Indonesia better than the previous one. so as the hopes that in the future the president, should be competent, honest, and responsible.
first, a leader must have the skills, which it seen in this leadership style that adapts to organizational challenge skills in determine the direction, assuring member organization, understand the root causes, is a form of competence among leader. a leader must be competent to eradicate corruption, poverty and so on.
then honesty, honesty is the most essential characteristic of a leader and the most easily seen. honesty is what underlies any action as a result of discretion. an ideal leader should honesty an integrity. and also a leader should always be honest in speak and act. this characteristic is the foundation for another action that is firm and populist. because honesty will make others respect and sympathy.
and the third, a leader and responsibility are two things which cannot be separated. nature responsible and shifting the blame to other will only make a leader are no longer effective as a leader. the leader is responsible for all that he saw. that means, he is also responsible for what is seen by the organization as well as his team. the leader responsible for the results achieved, both good results or bad results. and also responsible for launch proactive communication. when miss understanding occurred and rumors arise, the leader should be rectifying an establish communication to miss understanding does not arise again.
lead a country is not easy, as a leader he must have a strong characters in order to build Indonesia to be a better country. we as societies expert the next president who will lead Indonesia has such character, and Indonesia will better than ever.
