#writing objectives

I've been thinking up short stories lately,because I really want to get back into writing original stuff again. And one thing I really want to write is a lesbian story set in either fantasy or sci fi or something of the like And both if them live Just need to think of a plot for it now

Mumble mumble glrk - writing objectives is hard. And the worst part is, I think it’s hard mostly because I have no idea what the fuck I’m doing, and the instructions/guidance for this assignment were SUPER NOT THERE. The only example was a sixth grade science example. And, like, idk even how to write the little letters and numbers that indicate which standard is which? This has never been explained to me and I have tried to figure this out on my own through deduction and googling and i guess my search terms are off because I can’t find it and anyway it’s super exhausting and tedious and frustrating because I should be able to do six of these in like half an hour not two hours.

It was the psychology of behaviorism that identified success in learning design or instructional design as breaking down a task into smaller chunks.  With each "chunk" comes an objective -  a measurable way to determine if there has been learning success.  I have found in the workplace that when developing new programs, creating objectives is an area that many of my colleagues struggle.

In 1956, Benjamin Bloom created a taxonomy of learning that is the basis for much help in objective creation for today.  This link has great resources you can begin using today with your learners - adults or children.
