Which Story Sounds The Most Interesting/Coolest Based on the Premise?
Hey everybody! As some of you may know, I’m an aspiring writer, so I have TONS of ideas I plan on fleshing out into full stories! Here are four of them I’ve started working on recently! I just wanna see what the initial to them may be, so I’d love to hear your opinions! :)
1. The Vermillion Blade: For almost all of Malu’s history, a race of horned creatures known as the Prodigu have been at war with humanity. Although both races established a kingdom of peace nearly a thousand years ago, the humans have began oppressing the Prodigu out of fear and imprisoning them to suppress their emerging rebellion. One of these prisoners is a boy named Spero, and along with the princess, their mission is to bring an end to the conflict between their peoples once and for all.
2. Isle of Freaks: When 7 children suddenly awaken on a mysterious island, they are informed by a unknown letter that they have each been brought there for a special reason: to hunt and kill one another. Each child possess unique qualities that classify them as “freaks”, and they are to fight determine who is worthy of becoming “normal”. Whenever a child killed, they are brought back to life the next day. However, this can only occur a total of 5 times. Every day on the island is filled with danger and uncertainty, and as the days go by the children realize the true reason they have brought here may be more sinister then they originally believed.
3. Blackout: The Surgi are a race of red humanoids with ability to produce electrical energy from their bodies, and they have lived alongside humanity peacefully for thousands of years. However, ever since an apocalyptic disaster known as The Raid cut off the world from nearly all of it’s energy sources, the Surgi have been enslaved by humanity and forced to power cities, machinery, houses, power plants, etc. After escaping the walls of a human city, a Surgi named Jol finds himself in a ruined world where he must lead a rebellion against his human masters and discover the truth about The Raid disaster
4. Send: After her boyfriend Garrett is killed in a train accident, Phoebe is left devastated and alone with very few people to turn to. One week later, she is suddenly asked by a stranger if she wishes she could have prevented Garrett’s death, to which she answers with a confused “yes”. As if her wish was somehow granted, she receives a text from Garrett the next day, claiming he’s arrived at the city he was supposed to go to before the accident occurred, as if it never occurred at all. After confirming the text was real, she receives another from an unknown number stating she has “9 wishes left”, and discovers she has been given the ability to change the past. But as the consequences of this new power begin to reveal themselves, Phoebe questions whether or not the past is meant to be changed, and if she should set things right before it’s too late.
Just leave your answer in the notes or send an ask! :)
